How Can bad Body Odor Be Treated?

Hi, over the past week I ve started getting really bad body odour. I shower everyday, use deodorant. Even when I m not sweating I still suffer from body odour. This is not normal for me. The only differences is that I ve been taking invita d3 once a week (I m 5 weeks into a 6week course) and iron tablets from my doctor. I ve tried everything to try and rid myself of this awful odour. What could be the cause and how do I get rid of it??

Hi,

Bad body odor can be overcome by means of taking the following measures.
1. Shower at least once a day and may be twice if necessary. This will wash away sweat and get rid of some of the bacteria causing bad odor on your skin.
2. Use an antibacterial soap bar for bathing, which will help get rid of some bad odor-causing bacteria, which can help to get rid of bad odor.
3. After the shower, dry yourself quickly and completely, paying close attention to any areas where you sweat a lot.
4. Use 'Industrial Strength' Antiperspirants once you’re clean and dry.
5. Cut out on certain foods and drinks like spicy foods, aroma of foods like onions or garlic and drinks with caffeine or alcohol. Drink more quantity of water and stay well hydrated.

Gradually, you should be able to overcome the problem.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Ashakiran S,
